Data Deletion Instructions

A Sporvio account and the personal data associated with it can be deleted at any time. These instructions apply to every sign-in method, including email, Apple, Google, and Facebook.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Sporvio app and sign in.
2. Go to Me → Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm.

Delete on the website

1. Sign in at sporvio.com.
2. Open Delete account.
3. Confirm.

Request by email

Email privacy@sporvio.com from the email address on the account and request deletion of the account and its data. Identity is verified against the account on file before deletion.

What happens next

A deletion request has a 30-day withdrawal period, during which it can be withdrawn by signing in to the app. When the period ends, personal data — including profile, posts, comments, messages, photos, and match records — is deleted or anonymized, in any event within 31 days of the request.

Information that must be retained by law, or is needed to prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce the Terms, and copies in routine backups (purged on the normal backup cycle), may remain. See the Privacy Policy.

Facebook sign-in

Accounts created with Facebook are deleted the same way. The connection between Sporvio and a Facebook account can also be removed in the connected apps settings of that account.
